littlbox responds:

Hehe it was just good timing. I'll check out Shelf Life, thanks for the rec! :)

my fav artist on NG rn

verbicidemusic responds:

coming from you that means a lot !!!!

fire tones all around.

(WILL I BE ABLE TO SPEAK AFTER A STIFF DRINK!!!!!)
(just reminds me)

DFerociousbeast responds:

yooooooo inside out is so fucking good!!! Echo bravo and heading for the door are underrated classics!! but thanks a ton dude!

saw bitbeak say it was a bit too one note on my feed so I knew it would be perfect for my taste. Vaugely structured like a non-lofi duster riff. Layered and reverbed to hell vocals would go hard over this. Epic piece!

SentryTurbo responds:

i actually really enjoy duster's music, thank you for the feedback

in awe the moment the riff starts, love the way you write arabesquey lines. (I was recently told by a buddy that means interconnected melodies so I cant be at blame if that is wrong :D)

verbicidemusic responds:

thank you!! to be fair im not even familiar with that term myself but ill take you and your buddy's word on it lmao

One of the best things I've heard on this site in a while. Those vocal arrangements are literally mesmerizing. So beautiful—it's like Imogen Heap LMAO. The acoustic guitar to the breakdown was also great.

Ranipla responds:

Thanks mate!

I feel like your vibe would pair well with double-tracked vocals. Regardless, this is amazing.

voidprophecy responds:

thank you so much!!! i have done double-tracked vocals in the past (hard-panned left & right) and that one turned out well imo. i was actually thinking about uploading that song to newgrounds as well. i'm so glad you like this dude, thanks!

icky thump :)))

Jamesboltmusic responds:

Guess I gotta do that one too :)

wow, these people are harsh. The vocals are probably in need of compression to pull them from clipping, and it'd help to have them mixed slightly lower, but this isn't anywhere near a one-star track. The guitar work is very nice, especially that clipped-up intro riff. ill still scout you cause i enjoyed this track

ltrainbeck6 responds:

Thanks for the response, I was wondering if this is really this bad I just don’t realize it but this reassured me. I’m probably going to redo the vocals with my cousins soon so thanks!

The beginning reminds me of an early White Stripes song (like Apple Blossom), the synths and water ambience are a very nice touch.

Jamesboltmusic responds:

Thank you so much for the feedback, when creating this song, I changed the chords slightly to the original and I noticed myself that when creating the riff it had that similar sound, so I decided to keep that white stripes vibe with it, I thought to myself it sound a little like apple blossom and I'm so glad that you've noticed it as well, I think it was a good choice too keep it in. Once again thank you
